Icelandic punk trio GRÓA return with their new album ‘Drop P’, a raucous, chaotic, and heartfelt record that perfectly captures the band’s DIY ethos and spirit; forever rooted in fun, creativity, and making music with your friends.
Formed in Reykjavík in their teens, GRÓA is made up of sisters Karólína and Hrafnhildur Einars Maríudóttir and their childhood friend Fríða Björg Pétursdóttir. Together, they’ve carved out a sound that fuses art-punk, noise, avant-garde, and experimental rock, one that is defined by a sense of urgency and unpredictability.
