Description

Compulsion were an Irish punk band formed in 1990 by Josephmary and Sid Rainey, formerly of Thee Amazing Colossal Men. They signed to Virgin but ended up suing the label and subsequently changed their name to Compulsion in 1992. That year's One Little Indian debut Comforter saw them labelled by NME as part of the 'New Wave Of New Wave' scene.
