Description

Sandy Dillon studied Orchestral Composition at Berklee College of Music. Upon graduating she moved to New York where she began living in the infamous Chelsea Hotel. Whilst playing Janis Joplin in the Broadway production 'Rock N Roll: The First 5,000 Years', she was spotted by manager Tony DeFries and went on to record two unreleased albums for the Elektra label before moving to London. There she released her debut LP Electric Chair in 1999, the first of four albums for One Little Indian, followed by East Overshoe (2000), Nobody's Sweetheart (2003) and Pull the Strings (2006). Her latest record Living In Dreams was recorded with her second husband Ray Majors (of Mott The Hoople) and released in 2008.
